I have been playing with the Cricut using the Sure-Cuts-A- Lot program and Nestabilities today trying to create some retro Barbie tags for my niece's birthday. I used the Cuttlebug to cut out the oval shapes. It's good to break out supplies that I almost forgot I had. Yay for lazy, crafty Saturdays! :)

I had my bottom wisdom teeth taken out this past Friday and I am at home still recovering. The worst part about this experience is not the pain, but the fact that I can't chew. I like meat with my Lortab. So ice cream and smoothies for me this weekend. When can I eat steak again?
In the meantime, found my way into the scrap room today to make some cards. Love this Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge. So easy to paper-piece.
I cleaned my scrap space and found some printed textured cards from DCWV. Thought I would play with the Give A Hoot Cricut Cartridge and add an owl. It feels good to get out of the creative funk I've been in. One of these days, you might see a scrapbook page. :)
I have been having a love affair with my Cricut recently. I had forgotten all the fun things you can do with all the different Cricut cartridges. I just reorganized my stash of cartridges and this is the way it will stay until I decide to get the Gypsy. I found these instructions online and decided to give it a try when Joann's was having a 50% off on all their storage bins. I find it to be very handy and much less bulky than carrying around the original packaging. It worked well when I went to a crop recently.
I bought 2 of the Ribbon Holders and a pack of plastic canvas from Walmart. The whole thing cost about $12. :)
