spring has sprung.

Hello, friends!  Today, I bring to you a couple of projects showcasing the Hoppy Easter Kit from The Greeting Farm.  It is perfect for Easter scrapbook pages and spring projects!  I colored the digi Easter Bean image to look like my niece, Trinity, at Easter Time a few years ago. I love that the kit can be opened right into my Silhouette Cameo and printed using the Print and Cut feature. Such a time saving perk since I never have to fussy cut digi images again! :)

The kit is so bright and colorful and can be used for fun spring projects.  I made the pastel colored rosettes using my scoreboard and border punch and hot glued the images together onto wood skewers to make this spring bouquet.  So quick, easy, and just in time for spring!

Will you be creating any projects for spring?  Would love to see! :)  Thanks for stopping by!

the wonderful world of washi.

I'm either obsessed with something or I'm sadly apathetic. When it comes to washi tape, I am obsessed. Big surprise. I love the semipermanence of them all says the person who hates putting holes on the walls. Thank goodness for Command Strips. Now, I thank the heavens for washi. If I don't like how it looks on a project, I can peel it right off and restick. I get to have a do-over. Every. Single. Time. Yes, I am that indecisive. No, I'm not. Yes, I am.

color therapy.

Color sparks my creativity. It lifts my soul and inspires my creative juices. I don't get to play with my collection of Copic markers every day because I have this pesky thing called a job. It certainly gets in the way of my crafty life but I am sure able to appreciate those creative times because they do not come often. I make sure to schedule those times now.  It makes this girl function better in her life. And it makes her not want to choke her dear husband in everyday life. Honey, if you are reading this- love you! :)

ode to orla kiely.

One word about the Filofax community in Instagram: enablers.  It seems everyone has cleverly been using the Orla Kiely makeup bags for supply and planner storage.  I thought I had missed the boat because they had been so difficult to find, but lo and behold, they showed up at my local Target. They are so bright and cheerful!

When used as a Filofax organizer, it is perfect for my A5 size planner, post-its, and clips. :) Perfect for emergency Filofaxing on the go.  Hee.

let it go.

The Greeting Farm has released this cute little digi called Icy and I could not wait to color her up.  She is the perfect complement to my favorite Disney movie, Frozen.  Here is little Queen Elsa, Greeting Farm style.  I may or may not have been singing while coloring.

tgf easter kit.

I am so very excited to share that I have been invited to participate as a DT member for The Greeting Farm! I was very lucky to play and experiment with The Greeting Farm's newly released Easter Kit.  Just in time for those springtime photos and activities.

The Easter Kit comes with digital cuts that can be used with the Print and Cut Feature of the Silhouette Cameo.  There are bunny and chick cut files, 4x6 and 3x4 cards, all perfect for Project Life pages.  So easy and saves so much time!

It also comes with the cute and sweet Easter Bean digi image.  She is adorable with her bunny outfit and Easter egg.

creative mess.

I have been trying to get back into crafting regularly.  I have so missed the creative process.  I work so many hours that I have not had a lot of energy to devote to fun.  I have decided to make time for fun and I am starting with crafting. This desk is a result of some Copic coloring, card making, and general crafting. I am making a mess and I am happy. Here's to many more messy desk days.

stuffed full.

There's nothing like a stuffed Filofax to make this girl with OCD happy.  I use the bigger A5 size for work and the smaller personal size for home and personal organization.  These agendas are Filofax Metropols, which are my absolute favorite.  They're non-leather and durable enough to be dropped and dragged around meetings and in my purse. I am disappointed that there aren't a wide variety of colors for Metropols, but I enjoy the ones I have.

handmade paper flowers.

I tried my hand at making my own paper flowers. They were easier than I thought and just a fraction of the price of the store bought kind. I just grabbed a 5-petal paper punch and super glued the petals to form a little rose. Super easy! The only fatality are my poor hot glued fingers. Ha.
